2018 Kleberg Peer Mentor Application
Apply now
The 2018 Peer Mentor Program will focus on enhancing leadership skills, group facilitation, problem solving, and provide specialized education to become more familiar with Phi Delta Theta as a living organization.

At the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute, Peer Mentors are paired with a faculty member to lead a 20+ person "chapter" of attendees. They sit with the chapter in the General Sessions and assist the lead faculty member in the facilitation of the chapter meeting curriculum.

Peer Mentors also participate in specialized educational sessions during the course of the Institute. These special sessions focus on their own leadership development and provide Peer Mentors with an opportunity to become more familiar with Phi Delta Theta as a living organization. Discussions and presentations include topics vital to Phi Delta Theta and the entire inter-fraternal world.

Further, each Peer Mentor assists the GHQ Staff in the execution of various aspects of the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute . Peer Mentors return to their home chapters with a better appreciation for Phi Delta Theta and with new leadership skills to improve their chapter.

To qualify as a candidate for the Peer Mentor program, one must meet all of the following criteria:

1.  He must be entering at least his junior year.
2.  He must have previous chapter or campus leadership experience.
3.  He must be able to attend the entirety of the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute (Aug 3rd-7th).
4.  He should have a desire to give back to the Fraternity after graduation as a volunteer or, preferably, an interest in being employed as a Leadership Consultant.
